Did you know that D117 has a textbook evaluation process in place to review the textbooks that our educators choose for our students? The process includes displaying the textbook at the district office for 30 days for public review and comment.
We are currently using this process to evaluate two new textbooks. The first is for our Advanced Placement Psychology course. The textbook in process of being adopted is Myers Psychology for the AP Course, Myers et al, Bedford, Freeman, Worth (2024).
The second textbook is for our English Language Arts Levels 3 & 4 course for English Language Learners. It is titled Engage, Blanco, J., Vista (2025).
