We wrap up #DayAsASequoit with Hunter in Physical Best, taught by Mr. Greg Henning. Today in Physical Best, the class is able to play basketball . Hunter’s favorite part of Physical Best: “being able to chill with friends.” We hope you enjoyed following us today in our Day as a Sequoit project! Our students and staff work hard every day to make ACHS one of the best high schools in Illinois, and we enjoyed giving you a glimpse into a day at ACHS.


For 6th hour of #dayasasequoit , we travel with Kosta to Mr. House's Int. Math 3 Honors. Mr. House was in a meeting, so today we reviewed some past work and watched a video covering the next topic. Kosta's favorite part of class is watching Mr.House teach lessons in funny ways.

For 4th period of #dayasasequoit , we go into the media lab for Intro to Print & Journalism with Kosta, taught by Ms. Madelynn Soberano. Today, we looked over inspiration for magazine design and practiced in Adobe InDesign. Kosta’s favorite part of the class is using Photoshop.



For 2nd period of #dayasasequoit , we follow Kosta to AP US History, taught by Mrs. Anne Eichman. Today in APUSH, the class reviewed on our DBQ's. Kosta's favorite part of APUSH is class lectures and group work.


For 3rd period of #DayAsASequoit, we are in English 2 with Hunter, taught by Ms. Jessica Barnes and Mr. Frank Fracek. Today in English 2, the class is finishing up a reflection for a book we were reading. Hunter’s favorite part of English: “being able to have fun conversations with my teachers .”


For 1st period of #DayAsASequoit, we go to Chemistry with Hunter, taught by Ms. Katie MacMillan-Losinger. Today in Chemistry, the class is doing a lab to learn about the PH scale . Hunter’s favorite part of Chemistry: “ Is doing labs and talking with my friends .”
