Antioch Community High School
February's student of the month at ACHS is junior Rian Kadakia. As student of the month, Rian gets unlimited bragging rights and a free pizza generously donated by our friends at Antioch Pizza. Take a look at what some of Rian's teachers had to say about this awesome student:
What's great about Rian is the positive attitude Rian brings to school every single day. Rian is perpetually positive and a joy to be with. He tackles all obstacles and challenges with the same attitude. Having students like Rian makes me look forward to going to class!
-Rob Hafer
Rian is such a fabulous student. He is extremely polite and respectful. He always strives to do his best and is determined to succeed. As well, I loved having him in class, as he was always positive and caring about others.
-Meghan McDonnell
Rian is one of the best students in the building. He is a hard worker who wants to do well and cares passionately about his future. Rian's best quality is his ability to make others around him smile. He is so kind-hearted towards everybody and treats everybody like they are a good friend of his. He is an awesome student to have in class!
-Frank Fracek
I have never had Rian as a student but I have been a sub in his classes, so here goes:
Rian is one of the hardest working students I have had the opportunity to work with in the classroom. He works until he has mastered the content and is always willing to help his peers. He always brings a positive attitude to the classroom, which is why he can so easily get along with his peers and his teachers.
-Will Barbanera
Rian has been a part of the math team for three years. He is a very dedicated member who participates in all the practices and meets. He is contunally asking questions to know more about the math topics he will be competing in and at every single meet Rian does a great job! Rian is an integral part of the math team and we are so glad to have him!
-Lindsay Schwisow
Rian is an excellent student. He is a hard worker who always strives to get perfect scores. He is willing to rethink and correct his work until it is right.
-Jackie DeCaro
Rian comes to class with a positive attitude and is ready to learn every day. He takes pride in his work and wants to do his best. He asks great clarifying questions to ensure his understanding of the material. And, perhaps best of all, he's a really nice guy. As a student teacher, Rian is exactly the kind of student I was hoping I'd get to work with, and I'm excited to keep working with him over the next several weeks.
